Loved my stay at Hotel 1231! The modern room was spacious, clean, and had a partial view of the excellent castle ruins. Plus, being right next to the charming old town made exploring a breeze. Just a tad noisy outside at night, but totally worth it!

The hotel exudes a charming character with its good decor and a fine view of the castle from the rooms. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast, which featured everything from cereals and cooked dishes to honey straight from the honeycomb. The restaurant created such a pleasant atmosphere that I found myself opting for dinner there almost every night!

The location was fantastic for our family! We loved wandering around the medieval streets, exploring the Vistula River's edge, and enjoying the charming atmosphere. The hotel staff were genuinely friendly, and we appreciated being able to stay with our precious dog.

In my wife’s opinion, the stairs were difficult with kids.

The well-maintained room was comfortable, enhancing the overall positive experience at 1231.

The bed in my room was way too hard, like sleeping on a rock slab. It gave me a backache in the morning. The pillows were super flat too. On the bright side, the room was cozy and had a nice view. The restaurant was a plus since I could enjoy good food without leaving the hotel. But, honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here just for the beds.

I had a lovely stay! The vibe was super chill, the staff felt like pals, and the little gingerbread treat was such a nice touch. Breakfast had a ton of choices, which was awesome. The only thing was the stairs to get in. not easy if you're carrying a lot. Overall, really enjoyed it!

It was just a perfect match for getting around the area in Torun with value for money. The breakfast had something for everyone, which was great. Be prepared for early bar closing hours.
